As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics in Oak Creek, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol key areas within a busy logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and providing outstanding customer service while interacting with staff and visitors. You will play a crucial part in maintaining a secure environment by being visible and approachable, all while embodying our company's values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures, verifying the credentials of individuals entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and identify any irregularities.
• Maintain accurate logs of entry, exit, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel to support a secure and orderly environment.
• Adhere to all established protocols and guidelines for logistics and distribution locations as provided by Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
