As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics in Jonesboro, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and managing entry points for authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to help identify and respond to potential threats or unauthorized access.
• Provide customer service by assisting staff and visitors with inquiries related to access procedures and location policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate important information to Allied Universal management and on-site leadership regarding incidents or potential concerns.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
