As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics in Franklin, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and control entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will be visible throughout the facility and deliver outstanding customer service while supporting our team-oriented and people-first culture. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable using computers or tablets and are eager to contribute to a reliable, innovative environment where integrity and communication are valued.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to designated areas within the logistics and distribution location, verifying identification and authorization of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify any security-related concerns.
• Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by interacting professionally with employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while adhering to all security-related protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Assist in emergency response activities as needed, including evacuation procedures and coordination with site management and first responders.
• Enforce site-specific rules and regulations to help to deter disruptions to the logistics and distribution operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
