As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics Desk in West Jefferson, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. You will use technology such as computers or tablets to support your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry at the logistics and distribution location.
• Perform identification and credentials verification for individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe for any unusual or suspicious activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, utilizing problem-solving skills as needed.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related matters, including emergency response protocols.
• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and contractors by addressing inquiries and offering directions as appropriate.
• Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to Allied Universal standards.
• Collaborate with logistics site personnel to maintain a secure environment tailored to the unique needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
