As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting logistics and distribution operations. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout the location. You will engage with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location's requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by answering questions and offering assistance as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential issues.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of security-related activities, access control, and incidents as required.
• Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management, local law enforcement, and/or emergency services if necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
