As a Security Guard - Unarmed State Agency Patrol in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a government environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with the public and respond to situations as needed, all while providing excellent customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor for any suspicious activities or hazards and report findings according to established protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while on patrol.
• Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner as part of daily responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
