As a Security Guard - Unarmed Government Patrol FT in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly to support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or hazardous conditions encountered during patrols.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as necessary during incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
