As a Security Guard - Transit Perimeter Unarmed in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and communicating clearly with visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, conditions, or incidents during patrols.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information and guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with local authorities and emergency responders when required in accordance with site protocols.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns.
• Support Allied Universal leadership and site management by following all company and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
