As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Biloxi, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will contribute to a positive, welcoming environment for all visitors. You will interact with the public, assist with inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service while promoting a sense of order. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support store management and staff by assisting with security-related matters and maintaining a visible presence.
• Assist with access control and/or crowd management during peak hours or special events.
• Document and report all incidents, accidents, and security-related occurrences in accordance with company policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• It is preferred that candidates are able to lift more than 20 lbs.
• It is preferred that candidates are comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• It is preferred that candidates are able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
