Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine foot patrols to deter and detect suspicious or criminal activity. Monitor all entry and exit points, verifying and logging the arrival and departure of employees, guests, and vehicles in accordance with protocols. Respond swiftly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies with professionalism and adherence to safety procedures. Address trespassers or violators when necessary, following company protocols until authorities arrive. Operate and monitor surveillance cameras and security systems. Maintain detailed daily activity logs and incident reports for submission to Security Management.. Communicate using two-way radios and/or communication devices in a clear, concise manner. Assist with securing the premises during opening and closing procedures, including interior and exterior sweeps. Support customer service standards while maintaining order and ensuring the safety of guests and staff. Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations when trained and necessary. Report facility issues or safety concerns to the Security Lead promptly.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Maintain a valid driver's license. Previous customer service and security-related experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent judgment, observation skills, and attention to detail. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or emergency situations. Basic proficiency in computer systems, including surveillance software and incident reporting tools. CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Must pass a background check and drug screening per company and regulatory requirements.

Physical Requirements:

Stand, walk, bend, and perform physical patrols for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform duties in various weather and lighting conditions, both indoors and outdoors.

Schedule & Availability:

This role requires availability for nights (including graveyard shifts), weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is essential, and shifts may extend beyond scheduled hours due to operational needs. Overtime may be required.

Work Environment:

Security Guards are stationed at either the Main or North location, working in both indoor and outdoor conditions. The environment may include exposure to music, large crowds, and cannabis-related products. This is an on-site role.

This position requires a high level of vigilance, strong communication, and the ability to respond quickly and appropriately to safety concerns. The Security Guard will actively patrol the premises, monitor surveillance systems, enforce company policies, and assist with incidents to ensure a secure and welcoming environment.
