Alabama Medical Group is seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and responding promptly to incidents. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and preventing loss or damage. Candidates with backgrounds in law enforcement, military service, or security are encouraged to apply. Duties

Monitor and control access to the facility through surveillance and physical checkpoints Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents. Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and loss prevention Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills Utilize surveillance equipment effectively to monitor activity and prevent theft or vandalism Assist in training new security personnel on protocols and procedures

Qualifications

Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security is preferred Ability to handle stressful situations calmly Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond quickly during emergencies Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations
