What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and authorizations of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or exiting the premises.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the industrial and manufacturing environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe for potential security-related concerns or irregularities.
• Document all security-related activities, incidents, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client guidelines.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as necessary to report security-related matters or request assistance.
• Assist with the implementation of site-specific access control policies and procedures to maintain order and help to deter security-related risks within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
