As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in Pearl, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will interact with employees and visitors, support access control, and respond to various situations with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to questions and requests from personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist with maintaining order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or hazards encountered during patrols in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel to support security-related needs unique to a logistics and distribution environment, such as monitoring loading docks, entrances, and high-traffic areas.
• Participate in emergency response activities as directed, following location-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidance.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and communicate observations to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
