As a Security Guard - Logistics Entry Control in Wyoming, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and managing entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible throughout the location. You will play a key role in maintaining order while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with information and directions aligned with site-specific policies.
• Carry out security-related procedures as outlined in site-specific guidelines to help to deter potential risks.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter suspicious activity and report any irregularities.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or maintenance needs as required by site protocols and Allied Universal standards.
• Support emergency preparedness and response activities as directed, following established procedures for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
