What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disturbances, or suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and observe any unusual circumstances.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities clearly and accurately as required by site protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities and work closely with facility staff and local authorities as needed.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with patients, visitors, and staff, and uphold the standards of Allied Universal at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• A minimum of 2 years' service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
