What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance issues as outlined in site procedures.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, concerns, and daily activities.
• Support access control measures by verifying identification and monitoring entry and exit points as required.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Follow all company and client protocols to help to maintain a secure environment for clients and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
