As a Security Guard - Government Patrol Unarmed Driver in Flushing, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols within a government location. This is a dynamic role that requires you to remain visible, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service to everyone you encounter. As this is a driving post, a valid driver's license is required. You'll join a collaborative team that values integrity, reliability, and innovation, making a real difference while putting people first every day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the site's needs.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with individuals at the location, including visitors, employees, and the general public.
• Observe and report any unusual activity and/or incidents as per Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents.
• Complete required logs and reports in accordance with company and client procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
