As an unarmed patrol officer at a prominent educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with students, staff, and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This role includes driving responsibilities, requiring a valid driver's license. Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
Sat 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM
What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the education location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards encountered during patrols.
• Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and general information as needed.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities regarding incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
