As a Security Guard - CPR Patrol Rounds in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a shelter location where your presence and professionalism help promote a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine foot patrols, monitor activity, manage access control and visitor badge processes as needed, and document security-related incidents with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a shelter location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and notifying on-site personnel and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common spaces, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization when required, and assist with visitor management and resident check-in or check-out processes per site procedures.
• Document patrols, incident details, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
