As an

Armed Security Guard,

you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests and staff. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety of the venue and to manage any security incidents in a calm and effective manner. This role requires individuals who are vigilant, detail-oriented, and can handle high-pressure situations professionally.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and patrol the premises to deter potential threats or disruptive behavior. Enforce venue rules and regulations while maintaining a friendly yet authoritative presence. Respond promptly and effectively to security breaches, disturbances, or emergencies. Manage and de-escalate confrontations or altercations, using appropriate tactics and communication. Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary. Check identification to verify legal drinking age. Conduct pat-downs and searches of guests. Maintain a secure environment for guests and staff, ensuring the premises remain free from unauthorized access. Conduct regular security checks, ensuring all entry and exit points are properly secured. Prepare reports on incidents or security breaches, as required.

Requirements:

Valid G license is required.

Valid D license is required.

Valid FL driver's license is required

Must be able to provide a tactical vest, duty belt, and firearm that the applicant is qualified in.

Must be able to work from 10pm-6am on Friday and Saturday nights.

Proven experience as a security guard, law enforcement officer, or in a similar role, preferably in a nightclub or high-energy environment. Ability to stay calm and think clearly in stressful or emergency situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Physically fit, with the ability to stand or patrol for long periods. Must be reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques. Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in nightclub security or other nightlife venues.

CPR and First Aid certified.
