As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques when possible.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related threats and provide reassurance to clients and visitors.
• Monitor entry points and screen individuals as required, according to established policies and protocols.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in daily reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Carry and maintain readiness of assigned firearms and/or other equipment in compliance with Allied Universal protocols, responding appropriately to potential threats.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders during incidents as directed by Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess at least six months of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
