Job Description

Facilitates traffic flow, provides directions and assistance, promotes safety, and provides a positive first impression to our patients, guests, and visitors. Maintains security at all hospital outlets.

Customer Service

+ Greets patients, visitors, and other guests and provides information to assist them in getting to their specific designations.
+ Manages wheelchair distribution and provides security escorts for guests and employees to and from vehicles as requested.

Crisis Prevention and Intervention

+ Ensures fire zone areas are clear of excessive traffic or unattended vehicles. Patrols premises to ensure security of patients, visitors and guests.
+ Issue Parking Violation tickets as necessary and provides extensive/comprehensive investigative services by writing Security Incident/Occurrence reports for violations.
+ Applies correct and effective crisis prevention and intervention techniques.
+ Responds to and provides security dispatch for hospital emergencies including all Codes, community disasters/incidents, severe weather warnings and potential disaster situations which may bring high volumes of patients and/or others to the facility.
+ Work closely with Tracer Security Services to initiate the use of the boot for chronic parking violators in the area.
