Job Description
Job Summary
This Weekend Security role is responsible for greeting guests, checking IDs, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting the front-of-house team by bussing tables as needed. Ideal candidates have nightlife/bar security experience and are comfortable working in a fast-paced bar environment.
Responsibilities
Greet guests and manage line flow at the entrance Check IDs accurately and enforce age compliance Monitor guest behavior and address issues professionally De-escalate situations involving intoxicated or disruptive individuals Maintain a safe, welcoming environment inside and outside the bar Communicate clearly with bartenders and management Conduct routine floor checks and crowd monitoring Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness during peak hours
Requirements
Prior security/door host experience in a bar, nightclub, or similar environment Strong attention to detail and excellent situational awareness Friendly, approachable, and professional with guests Confident handling intoxicated persons and enforcing house rules Ability to stand and move for the duration of the shift Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
