Overview

Hours are :

- Friday 6:30pm-CL (Close at 2am)

- Saturday 6:30pm-CL (Close at 3am)

We have wonderful live music every Friday and Saturday

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Doorman to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors.

This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and preventing loss or unauthorized access.

Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security operations is highly valued.

Duties

Check IDs to ensure all guests meet age requirements. Manage guest entry and maintain an accurate headcount. Collect cover charges and maintain an accurate count. Monitor the entrance, interior, and surrounding areas for safety issues. Identify signs of intoxication, disorderly conduct, or potential conflict. Greet guests professionally and answer basic questions about the venue. Assist guests with directions, accessibility needs, or lost property. Communicate with bartenders and management. Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or other incidents Handle conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and intervening in suspicious activities Assist in opening and closing procedures

Qualifications

Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security roles preferred Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable Strong conflict management skills and ability to remain calm under pressure Excellent observation skills with attention to detail Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required Effective communication skills for interacting with staff, visitors, and authorities BASSET Certified
