Job Description

Looking for a few responsible individuals with security experience to work on one of our multi-family residential communities in Albuquerque, NM. This is a FULL TIME position where you work directly for the property owners/management.

Please ONLY apply if you have some experience in the security or law enforcement field. Level 2A and up is preferred. Current card is not required.

Duties include monitoring all access points and patrolling common areas including courtyards, pool areas, parking lots, management offices, laundry centers, and checking all limited access areas to ensure that the property is safe from any unlawful or inappropriate activity. Monitor the property for suspicious activity which could include unauthorized vehicles, burglarized vehicles/apartments, trespassers, and loitering. Report lighting and maintenance issues and pass out notices or lease violations. Clear vacant units. You will be working closely with the office and maintenance staff to resolve issues.
Must be able to communicate effectively and document all observations and activities in real-time via an app on your smartphone.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess a strong moral aptitude. - Must be able to work well with minimal supervision.
- Must be assertive (Not Aggressive) and comfortable interacting with a diverse group of individuals.
- Must have effective communication skills (verbal and writing). Must speak and write English. Bilingual a plus
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Desire to provide outstanding customer service - Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time...

- Must be a team player, able to work closely with office and maintenance staff - Must be proactive in implementing both city ordinances and community guidelines.

Must have a smartphone with UNLIMITED DATA. Our company utilizes an app on your phone that serves as a communication tool between staff as well as logging work duties. This is required for all staff.

Different shifts are available, please specify if you are interested in a particular shift or if you are flexible. Part time weekend shifts may be available too. Shifts could alternate between properties.

You would be working directly for the apartment complex; current guard card is not required.

Experience in multi-family residential property security is preferred but not required. Some maintenance experience would be nice but NOT required. Level 3 or equivalent law enforcement experience preferred.

Pay

starting at $18 hourly for qualified applicants. All new hires will be on a 90 day probation.

These positions would include any holidays that would fall on your shift. Trading shifts would be a possibility.

After 90 days, you will start to accumulate

paid time off

(PTO) and be eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance. Sick pay will start to accumulate from Day 1.
