Sector Transformation Architecture and Delivery - Oil and Gas - Senior - Houston
The energy sector is rapidly evolving, and our clients seek to become more agile and integrated. EY is expanding its energy-focused team to deliver impactful change and help organizations navigate transformation.
As a Senior Transformation Architecture and Delivery (TAD) team member, you will work with senior leaders to implement change and build lasting capabilities. Engineering and capital projects experience is strongly preferred for managing complex oil & gas solutions.
The Opportunity
We seek experts who combine energy sector knowledge with program delivery skills. Consulting experience alongside engineering or capital projects background will add significant value in client engagements. As a Senior Project and Program Delivery specialist, you will drive performance by designing and managing transformational projects, ensuring alignment with client strategy, and overseeing timelines, costs, and quality.
Key Responsibilities

• Adopt new technologies and promote their integration.
• IT governance (ITIL, release management, software development).
• Define and execute deliverables, track progress.
• Participate in client sessions and lead teams as needed.
• Regular travel required for client engagement.
• Apply engineering/capital project experience to large initiatives in oil & gas.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Experience with digital transformation, Agile, and waterfall delivery.
• PMO skills (SAFE Agile certification, ADO knowledge).
• Expertise in program and project delivery, including managing resources and quality.
• Engineering/capital project management in oil & gas, overseeing budgets and technical deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or entrepreneurship.
• 2-5 years' experience in oil & gas and consulting, specifically in capital projects and engineering
• At least one year in client service consulting.
• Technical skills in project and program delivery.
• Change management and sector knowledge.
• Familiarity with delivery methodologies and project team mobilization.
• Experience supporting or leading engineering/capital projects preferred.
• Data science background a plus.

• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Proven track record delivering client value.
• Collaboration with engineering or capital project teams in energy transformation.

• We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $97,300 to $178,300. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $116,700 to $202,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
• Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
