Overview

We are seeking a Secret Cleared Hardware Deployment Technician - to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This role is focused on the installation, imaging, and deployment of Windows-based computer systems, along with supporting peripherals, documentation, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and support field deployment activities. An active Interim Secret clearance or higher is required.

Duties

Install and support new Windows-based laptops and workstations. Perform imaging and software installation on computer systems. Prepare and stage systems for deployment and support deployment activities. Install and support computer peripherals, coordinating with management for inventory, equipment movement, shipping, and hardware orders. Ensure work products comply with established deliverable guidelines, including format and content. Assist with the development of documentation based on customer processes. Travel to customer sites to perform deployment activities such as site surveys, hardware/software installation, hardware removal, and shipment checks. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in Information Technology. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and effective decision-making. Experience providing customer service in a technical environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Active Interim Secret clearance or above.

Ability to travel to Washington, DC for deployment activities.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to type and perform standard computer-based tasks. Must be able to lift, move, and transport computer equipment as required for installations.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
