Grade Teacher
is committed to helping students grow academically, socially, and spiritually through a distinctly biblical worldview. The curriculum integrates faith across all subjects, including Deep Roots Bible, Balanced Literacy, Writer's Workshop, Math in Focus, Mystery Science, and BJU Heritage Studies. Students engage in hands-on, inquiry-based learning that develops reading comprehension, foundational math skills, scientific observation, and an understanding of Christian citizenship. The ideal candidate will inspire students to think critically, apply biblical truth, and cultivate godly character as they grow in confidence and independence. Candidate must be professionally qualified, who enjoys working with young people and who, by the pattern of their lives, are Christian role models in faith and deed.
College degree
Teaching Certificate preferred
Relevant and rich teaching experiences
A love for and understanding of children and young students
A clear understanding and acceptance of Biblical principles
A strong personal Christian faith in alignment with CHS Statement of Faith
