Essential Functions and Duties

Assists with seasonal maintenance functions, including grounds work (mowing, snow removal, etc.) Trash pick-up Drives or rides in trucks to haul project materials to and from job sites; loading and unloading materials and equipment Performs minor equipment maintenance and repairs. General painting as assigned Operates in a safe manner while performing labor on construction and maintenance projects Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Immediately report all unsafe conditions to direct supervisor. Reliable and dependable attendance and punctuality are essential for this position. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Must posses a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history Must be at least 18 years of age Must be physically capable of working outside in all weather conditions in a physically active manner Ability to effectively communicate verbally and to follow oral and /or written instruction Ability to work without the need for close supervision Working knowledge of various powered equipment Ability to perform heavy, manual tasks for extended periods of time Ability to stand and walk on concrete and/or uneven surfaces for extended periods of time Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs. Bending, lifting, and standing Willing and capable of working Saturdays

Working Conditions:

Working inside and outside in various temperatures During different job duties the noise inside or outside can become very loud. Will be exposed daily to odors, dusts and dirt Will be exposed to electrical boxes and electrical machinery that are not to be entered or repaired by those who are not certified in basic electrical training and/or lock out tag out. Areas with unpleasant odors
