Overview
As a Ticket/Will-Call Agent at the National Western Stock Show, you will be a primary point of contact for guests, responsible for providing courteous and efficient service in all ticketing and will-call interactions. Your duties include answering guest questions, filling ticket orders accurately and quickly, and processing payments. Following all Ticket/Box Office policies, you'll ensure guests have a smooth experience by helping minimize wait times, balancing urgency with a welcoming demeanor.

Duties & Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, representing NWSS courteously and professionally in any public-facing situation.
Process ticket orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring correct seating and event information.
Manage will-call orders, ensuring smooth distribution and quick resolution of guest inquiries.
Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain cash-handling accuracy in compliance with Ticket/Box Office procedures.
Answer guest questions regarding ticketing, event schedules, and general event information, providing knowledgeable and clear responses.
Follow all Ticket/Box Office policies and procedures, adhering to security and guest privacy standards.
Work to minimize wait times for guests by maintaining a sense of urgency without compromising customer service quality.

Desired Experience, Skills, & Abilities
Background in customer service or ticketing is highly preferred, with strong interpersonal skills.
Experience in cash handling and payment processing, with a commitment to accuracy.
Able to work variable hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays during the 16 days of Stock Show (January 10th-January 25th).
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English, with excellent verbal communication abilities; bilingual skills are a plus.
Able to work independently and collaboratively, with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
Working Conditions
National Western Complex is a multi-purpose indoor and outdoor commercial and agricultural complex where dusty conditions and animals may exist. While performing the duties of this job, work is performed primarily indoors but may occasionally call for working outside in all weather conditions, including extreme cold, snow, wind, and rain, on varied surfaces. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with large crowds.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a seasonal, hourly position with pay rate of $19.31/hour.
Paid sick time offered at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
