Shipping & Receiving Assistant (Part-Time)

Reckner is a trusted marketing research company, serving clients for 30 years. Through employee expertise, we provide innovative research services to a broad range of consumer products and healthcare clients including manufacturers, international market research companies and custom consulting companies. The corporate office is located in Chalfont, PA. Reckner has facilities in Pennsylvania, New York and Wisconsin.

The schedule for this position is

part-time and may fluctuate from week to week, with up to 28 hours per week available

. Hours are generally flexible within the 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. timeframe, with occasional evening hours as needed, and

a minimum of 6-8 hours per shift

. Please note that there is no set weekly schedule, and hours are not guaranteed.

Schedules are determined in advance based the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

This position is a critical part of our operations, focusing on de-branding products, packaging, labeling, and preparing orders for shipping. You will work closely with the shipping team to ensure that all products are accurately prepared, randomized, and coded for shipment to meet our quality standards and deadlines.

De-branding Products:

Remove or cover existing branding on products as per company guidelines, ensuring products are ready for testing.

Packaging:

Safely and efficiently package items in accordance with company and client specifications, maintaining high standards of product integrity and presentation.

Labeling:

Apply correct labels, codes to products and packages, ensuring accuracy in concealing product identification and shipping information.

Coding & Randomizing:

Randomize product batches and apply appropriate coding to ensure efficient tracking and delivery of orders.

Shipping Preparation:

Organize and prepare products for shipping by selecting the appropriate packaging materials, verifying shipping addresses, and ensuring that all labels and documentation are accurate.

Quality Control:

Inspect products for defects or damage before de-branding, packaging, or shipping to ensure product integrity.

Collaboration:

Work with supervisor and warehouse teams to meet daily and weekly shipping goals.

Requirements

Candidate must have the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment to successfully meet clients' needs and expectations

Ability to lift 30+ pounds

Requires ability to walk for extended periods of time and bend, lift, reach regularly

Candidate must be dependable and have excellent organizational, interpersonal skills, time management skills, articulate and pay close

attention to detail

High school degree or equivalent work experience in market research beneficial

Must possess high-energy and exhibit professionalism at all time

Training will be provided

Pay: $20.00 per hour
