Seasonal Team Member - Textbook Distribution Center

We are seeking

Seasonal Team Members

to support our distribution center operations during our peak season. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail and consistency. This seasonal assignment is projected to end on February 6, 2025, though the end date may change based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, scan, sort, and organize incoming inventory Pick, pack, and assemble customer orders with accuracy and speed Pack and label shipments for safe and timely delivery Load/unload trucks and move materials safely throughout the warehouse Use handheld scanners, carts, and other warehouse equipment Perform repetitive tasks including lifting, shelving, sorting, bending, and continuous walking Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety protocols Collaborate with team members and support various warehouse functions as needed

Qualifications

Warehouse or distribution center experience is required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 60 lbs Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive motions for an entire shift Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes Able to use handheld scanners and basic warehouse technology Team-oriented with a positive, task-focused attitude Flexibility to meet peak-season operational demands

Hours & Shift

Shift

: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-5:00PM

Mandatory

: One full week of 7:00AM-7:00PM shifts

Weekend Requirement

: 3 weekend shifts required (Sunday shifts are 11:00AM-9:00PM)

Full-time hours

required for the duration of the assignment

Overtime

is required based on business needs

Working Conditions

Fast-paced distribution center environment Varying temperatures depending on warehouse area Continuous standing and walking, plus stair use as needed Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions
