Settlers Bay Lodge is looking for a motivated, hardworking and positive individual to join our team. Must be quick on their feet and possess the ability to remain calm in high stress situations. We have cultivated a highly team oriented environment that relies heavily on collaboration and communication. The right candidate filling this position has potential for cross training, advancement, and year-round opportunities. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Opening the restaurant and ensuring it is properly set up for the shift.
- Deliver food and drinks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Effectively communicate with Guests about food recommendations, diet restrictions, or any other needs.
- Deliver attentive and respectful services to guests.
- Be able to appropriately handle complaints or problems in a positive, and professional manner.
- Utilize the POS system.
- Handle customer checks, receipts, and cash.
- Clean and close down restaurant or section.
- Complete all side work in accordance with restaurant procedure including tasks such as silverware rollups, replenishing condiments, and general housekeeping of serving stations.
- Applicant must be 21 years or older.
- Preferred 2+ years of pervious restaurant experience.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and most holidays.
- Able to meet the physical demands of working in a busy restaurant/kitchen.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
- Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.
