Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Seasonal Sales Associate to join our streetwear / basketball brand retail team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about basketball, fashion and providing excellent customer service, promoting products, and creating a welcoming shopping environment. The position offers an opportunity to gain on hand retail experience, develop sales skills, and contribute to a positive store atmosphere during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges packing orders using shopify Receiving inventory to input in system and back stock (must be able to lift up to 50lbs) Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring stock is well-presented Restock shelves and manage inventory levels through proper stocking procedures Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and balancing registers Support team members with supervising tasks when needed, especially during busy periods

Requirements

Basketball lover with previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in similar environments. Open availability prioritized especially on weekends. Familiarity with Shopify POS systems ,cashiering, and retail math calculations Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse customers in a bilingual setting is a plus experience in order packing via Shopify and stocking product. Experience in supervising or leading team members is advantageous Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking and merchandising A cool personal style is a plus!
