Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Seasonal Associates to join our team during the busy season. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Seasonal Associates will assist with various tasks, including sales, stocking, and merchandising, while maintaining a friendly and efficient store environment.

Duties

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting with their inquiries. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling. Assist in merchandising products to create appealing displays that attract customers. Stock shelves and ensure that products are organized and well-presented throughout the store. Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits to customers. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases while maintaining a positive shopping experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas. Supervise other seasonal staff as needed, ensuring adherence to store policies and procedures.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on communication and interpersonal interactions. Experience in retail sales, including cashiering and cash handling practices. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and retail math applications. Familiarity with merchandising techniques to effectively display products. Ability to perform product demos that engage customers effectively. Supervising experience is a plus for those looking to take on additional responsibilities. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse customer base. Proficient phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
