Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help customers find exactly what they need while ensuring the store remains organized and inviting. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills. There is potential to stay on post holiday in other capacities with the company as well. We are growing and always looking for ways to grow the team. This job will be rotating between our Bryant Park Winter Village pop up or our Union Square Holiday Market pop up.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide attentive assistance to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant items to maximize sales opportunities Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking activities to ensure products are well-presented and accessible Conduct regular stock checks, manage inventory levels, and assist with stock replenishment to keep the store organized Promote a positive shopping environment through clear communication skills and friendly interactions Ensure compliance with store policies, including cash handling procedures and safety standards

Requirements

Previous retail sales experience is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are highly valued Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, setting up displays, and organizing products effectively
