Job Summary


Provide an elevated customer experience with each of our guest. Educate our customers on the philosophy of wellness through scent while guiding them through experiencing a fragrance journey.

Duties



Customer Experience & Sales



Warmly Greet

every customer upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive first impression at

Wigenton Candle Co.

Provide a

seamless, high-quality customer experience

from the moment a guest enters the store through to their checkout process. Become a

product knowledge expert

to confidently guide customers through our scent and product offerings, assisting them in their consideration and purchase journey (conversion). Facilitate

"Pour Decisions" Candle Pickups

by efficiently locating and presenting completed, dried candles to returning guests. Answer incoming store phone calls professionally, providing basic information or efficiently directing complex inquiries to the appropriate Lead or Manager.

Store Operations & Efficiency



Execute

accurate and efficient transactions

using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system. Maintain

precise cash handling and register reconciliation

to minimize loss and financial risk for the company.

Restock and merchandise shelves

throughout the shift, ensuring all products are correctly placed, neat, and visually appealing to maintain the Wigenton standard.

Provide supplementary support

to the Candle Instructor during "Pour Decisions" sessions as needed, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for participants.

Experience



You're a Great Fit If You:



Have 1+ years of experience in retail, customer experience, or event hosting Are passionate about fragrance, wellness, and elevated retail Have strong interpersonal and communication skills Thrive in a hands-on, guest-first environment Can work weekends and are excited to help bring this experience to life Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Experience with cash handling procedures, including operating cash registers and POS systems. Ability to upsell products while maintaining a positive customer experience. A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
