Responsibilities



Set up and calibrate screen printing presses to ensure precise registration and color matching for each job Prepare screens, inks, and substrates according to project specifications, maintaining consistency across batches Operate manual or automatic screen printing equipment efficiently, adhering to safety protocols at all times Inspect printed products for quality issues such as misregistration, smudges, or color inconsistencies, making adjustments as needed Maintain a clean and organized workstation to promote safety and streamline production workflows Collaborate with design teams to understand artwork requirements, including digital design files and color palettes Troubleshoot technical issues with printing equipment promptly to minimize downtime Document production details, including job specifications, ink formulations, and quality control reports Assist in inventory management of inks, screens, and other supplies to ensure smooth operations

Requirements



Proven experience operating screen printing presses or similar printing equipment in a production environment Strong understanding of color theory, print registration techniques, and ink mixing processes Familiarity with digital design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite for preparing artwork files Knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, layout design, and visual aesthetics Ability to interpret technical drawings and digital art files accurately for print production Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle materials safely Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and designers

Preferred qualifications

include experience with art direction, photography, motion graphics (Adobe After Effects), 3D animation (Maya), web design (HTML/CSS), CAD or SketchUp for layout planning, as well as familiarity with print advertising and interior or production design.
