Job Description

Responsibilities:

Complete Print Jobs in a timely and efficient manner as well as General upkeep of the shop. This includes:

Analyze each job to be completed to understand the best way to complete the print job. Set up and align screens correctly Understand the machine/press being used to print the job Work independently or in a team to complete print jobs Organize and package orders for a store print job Check quality of prints Check and maintain correct temperatures of Flash and Belt Dryers to properly cure garments Determine correct ink and ink color for each print job Reclaim screens Apply emulsion to reclaimed screens Burn film onto coated screens

Skills and Knowledge required

Ability to problem solve independently Ability to efficiently work alone or as a team Ability to focus without being distracted Understanding how the printing presses work and how to maintain proper working order Knowledge of different chemicals used and what each is used for Differentiate between garments as far as what they are made of (cotton v. polyester) Ability to correctly read a pack-slip and pack an order Knowledge of common design placements on garments Ability to keep a clean and organized workspace Extreme organization habits Attention to detail Ability to recognize an issue before it becomes a major issue Knowledge of safety mechanisms and protocols

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
