Titan Security is currently hiring for Security Officers to work at a location in the Harper Woods, Michigan area! All positions are immediately available. Shifts available include day shifts and are full time.

To be considered for a position, candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a security officer, school security officer, campus supervisor or law enforcement officer with no prior convictions.

Responsibilities

• Protecting students and staff members within the school grounds

• Ensuring a smooth traffic flow of students through the hallways, assisting students with ontime arrival to class and to assigned locations.

• Displaying ethical and professional behavior in the school.
• Responding to emergency situations
• Enforcing campus rules and regulations
• Safeguarding the school grounds from suspicious people and activity
• Patrol and supervise the school campus

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

• Minimum two (2) years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a security officer, school security officer, campus supervisor or law enforcement officer.

• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license not required, but license and satisfactory DMV history allows broader assignment to a vehicular mobile patrol
• Bi-lingual considered a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
