We have grown substantially over the past several years and are looking to divide our upper school principal position into two positions. We are seeking a dynamic School Principal who thinks outside the box and is an extreme team player as we serve our community and honor God through education. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing assigned aspects of school operations, sharing our Christian faith, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring academic excellence. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong management skills, a passion for Christian education, and the ability to inspire staff and students alike.
Responsibilities
Provide and promote a safe, fun, "thinking out of the box", and engaging school culture.
Help in the innovative environment for teachers and department heads to develop and implement curriculum aligned with educational standards and student needs.
Help implement the headmaster's strategic plans and initiatives.
Ensuring that budgeted resources are allocated efficiently to support educational programs.
Oversee area assigned faculty recruitment, evaluation, and professional development to maintain high teaching standards.
Supervise daily school-assigned areas, including student discipline, safety protocols, and area-assigned administrative functions.
Foster relationships with parents, community stakeholders, and local organizations to support fundraising efforts and community engagement.
Ensure compliance with all educational policies, regulations, and accreditation standards.
Support teachers in classroom management and instructional strategies to enhance student achievement.
Requirements
Proven experience in education administration with a strong background in management and leadership roles.
Classroom teaching experience coupled with supervising or managing staff.
Demonstrated curriculum development.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work with a dym teams, foster collaboration, and drive school improvement initiatives.
The ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
Experience working directly with students across various grade levels is essential.
Knowledge of education policies.
