POSITION SUMMARY:
Graduate Arkansas, Inc. is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) School Operations Specialist to support both student enrollment operations and school administrative functions. This dual-role position will manage enrollment processes, assist families through the application and registration process, maintain student records, and provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth school operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to serve our diverse student population.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Process student enrollment applications and maintain accurate enrollment records in compliance with state requirements
Assist families with enrollment procedures, documentation requirements, and answer inquiries in English and Spanish
Coordinate enrollment events, school tours, and information sessions for prospective students and families
Maintain and update student information systems and databases with current enrollment data
Generate enrollment reports and track enrollment trends for administrative planning
Provide front desk coverage and serve as first point of contact for visitors, families, and phone inquiries
Support school administrative functions including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation
Assist with student registration, withdrawal processes, and transfer procedures
Collaborate with school registrar to ensure proper documentation and compliance with state regulations
Manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, supply ordering, and mail distribution
Support special projects and events as assigned by school administration
Translate enrollment materials and communications between English and Spanish as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing) strongly preferred
1-2 years of experience in customer service, office administration, or educational settings
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management
Experience with student information systems preferred
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse populations
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Customer service orientation with patience and professionalism
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Valid Arkansas driver's license and current TB test
Ability to perform in an office environment with requirements including sitting, standing, filing, and occasional lifting of supplies up to 25 pounds
