Description:

The Location Manager provides direct operational guidance and supervision, day-to-day management, customer interface, and required reporting and compliance mandates (both internal and external). Is first line representation of location management with school officials concerning issues of passenger management, route scheduling, charter activities, driver issues, and general logistics matters. Directly supervises all location personnel and is responsible for all payroll related issues.

\xc2\xb7 Manages fleet and facility needs

\xc2\xb7 Recruits, interviews, and recommends for hire for school bus drivers

\xc2\xb7 Improves operational efficiencies where applicable

\xc2\xb7 Enforces all company policies/procedures

\xc2\xb7 Leads by example

\xc2\xb7 Manages all day-to-day operations of the location

\xc2\xb7 Builds positive relationships with local school district officials, parents, and the community

\xc2\xb7 Quickly responds to and resolves customer complaints

\xc2\xb7 Implements fair and consistent recognition and/or corrective discipline

\xc2\xb7 Assists district with route and stop locations (district must sign off on ALL route and stop locations)

\xc2\xb7 Assists district with data entry into district\'s routing system, if applicable

\xc2\xb7 All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Class A or B CDL with appropriate endorsements

\xc2\xb7 PA School Bus Instructor certification (preferred)

\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 5 years management-related experience

\xc2\xb7 High level of customer service and relationship building

\xc2\xb7 Outstanding communication skills; internal and external

\xc2\xb7 Well-developed supervisory and employee relations skills

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize effectively

\xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills

\xc2\xb7 Strong commitment to safety

\xc2\xb7 Computer literacy essential with Microsoft Word and Excel

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and lead subordinates as well as engage employees to achieve improved performance

Minimum Education Requirements

\xc2\xb7 High school diploma or equivalent
