School Bus Attendant
Job Description
One part-time position 30 ours per week for 178 contract days (for a full school year).
This is a split shift assignment with the hours being: Monday through Thursday 6:00 am - 9:00 am AND 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Friday 6:00 am - 9:00 am AND 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Responsibilities: To assist the driver with student management and safety on the bus. May help load and unload students with disabilities and related supportive devices, keeps students seated and interacts positively while en-route to/from school on District buses. The incumbent may also perform basic first aid.
Requirements: High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
Salary: Based on the 2025-2026 Education Support Professional Salary Schedule $27.26 per hour starting hourly rate - prorated based on start date (Salary placement is based on related experience); plus insurance and retirement benefits
