POSITION / DUTIES
SCHOOL BUS AIDESALARY
As per the Negotiated AgreementKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
One-on-One Support: Provide individualized and group assistance to students while traveling on a school bus during routine morning and afternoon routes. Lifting and Mobility Support: Safely lift, move, or transfer students as needed to support physical activities, school bus and ride positioning, and other mobility needs.QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional certification or experience in special education or related field is preferred. Ability to lift and move students safely, with training as needed. Experience working with children, particularly in a one-on-one or special education. Strong communication and organizational skills. Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift and move up to [appropriate weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs] regularly. Capability to stand, walk, and move throughout the day as required.HOW TO APPLY
