Overview

We are a local private practice that is so excited to be growing in our community! We are needing a couple more compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapists to join our team for north Hall County schools and north Forsyth County schools. The ideal candidates will possess a strong commitment to improving the mental health and well-being of individuals across various demographics. This role requires a professional who can provide therapeutic support, develop treatment plans, and facilitate private practice therapy sessions in a school setting (and office setting if desired) while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for clients. We are locate in Hall, Forsyth and Dawson counties and growing at a great pace!

Duties

Conduct individual sessions in the school environment (group therapy sessions are options) to address mental health issues. Develop personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and ongoing evaluations. Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to assist clients in overcoming challenges. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with medical terminology standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients, including school counselors and social workers. Facilitate crisis intervention as necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of all clients.

Experience

Candidates might have experience or training in the following areas:

Behavioral therapy practices Experience with children in a therapeutic setting Proficiency in medical terminology Mental health counseling methodologies Group therapy work experience

Preference is an associate or full license!

Must be able to provide a driver's license and auto insurance when working in schools

Job Type: Contract

Base Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
