Job Description

We are a team driven and growing practice in School based services. We are looking for local individuals that are interested in working with out area youth in a school-based setting. These positions are located at an identified school and work closely with other school staff such as guidance counselors, principals, and teachers. During summers we maintain contact with the kids to make sure they continue to make progress. Preferred qualifications for this position include: Ohio LISW, LPCC, LSW, LPC, CT or SWT. However, there are opportunities for other professionals as well with related experience. No weekends or holidays.

SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE

This position will be based at Northwest Schools in Scioto County, Ohio. This person works with people of all ages and their families/significant others to determine the goals for treatment and assists the client with meeting the identified goals.

Conducts brief and comprehensive assessments Develops and updates individualized treatment plans for persons served per agency protocol Educates the client and people within their support system about behavioral health diagnoses to help them develop a better understanding of their illness Provide individual psychotherapy Provides crisis psychotherapy and hospitalization screening services to clients and needed support to family Completes clinical documentation in a timely manner Promotes the agency vision and mission and supports the agency's values by exhibiting these values through their work and their everyday behavior and by recognizing colleagues for exhibiting the values.
