We are seeking an enthusiastic and responsible School-Age Program Teacher to join our growing team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children ages 5- 14.

Our program offers a STEM and enrichment-based curriculum designed to spark creativity, critical thinking, and a love of learning. In addition to academic enrichment, we focus on helping children build strong social and emotional skills, including self-awareness, empathy, and cooperation--creating a well-rounded foundation for lifelong success.

Job Summary:

The School-Age Program Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that support the growth and learning of school-aged children. This includes facilitating STEM and enrichment experiences while also nurturing each child's social and emotional development in a safe, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and actively engage with children during program hours. Plan and lead hands-on activities focusing on STEM, arts, literacy, and enrichment. Foster social-emotional learning through group discussions, team-building activities, and positive behavior modeling. Support homework help and academic development. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and school personnel. Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and program policies. Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in education, child development, or related field preferred. Experience working with children in a school, camp, or youth program setting. Passion for education and child development, with a strong understanding of SEL (social-emotional learning) principles. Strong communication and teamwork skills. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Must pass background checks and meet all licensing requirements.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
