Position Summary:

This role is responsible to assist pharmacies within the SpartanNash organization with scheduling needs and license, certification, and education compliance monitoring for all pharmacy employees.

Here\xe2\x80\x99s what you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

  • Manage pharmacist scheduling for all assigned stores through the use of a computerized scheduling program, assigned stores may change based on the needs of the company
  • Work closely with operations managers, pharmacy managers, store directors, and district managers to ensure schedules fall within company guidelines and minimize overtime and travel hours
  • Ability to analyze pharmacy schedules to determine current and project future staffing needs
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and data
  • Work with pharmacy operations managers after hours and/or on weekends to help with the management of pharmacy staffing
  • Manage payroll transfers for all pharmacy employees within assigned stores
  • Manage tracking of state licenses and certifications for all pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and interns and hold employees accountable to license and certification compliance
  • Manage compliance with workday training for all pharmacy employees
  • Participate in training of new employees with regards to scheduling policies
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs to include weekends, evenings and overtime as required.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Here\xe2\x80\x99s what you\xe2\x80\x99ll need:
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • College degree or college course preferred
  • Pharmacy Technician License or willing to become licensed within 1 year of starting employment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, pharmacy laws, rules, and guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong customer service skills
  • Good multi-tasking, organization, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and Word
Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures) and is exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
