Job Overview:
As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in coordinating home care services for our clients. Your responsibilities include creating and managing caregiver schedules, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery, and addressing scheduling conflicts with empathy and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive caregiver schedules
Match caregivers with clients based on needs and preferences
Handle scheduling changes and last-minute adjustments
Communicate effectively with caregivers, clients, and their families
Collaborate with the care team to optimize service delivery
Manage caregiver time cards/payroll
Heavy phone usage
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Prior scheduling or coordination experience (preferably in home care or other long term care)
Empathy and understanding for the needs of clients and caregivers
Proficient in relevant scheduling software/tools (Outlook, Excel & word)
